Review Text Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon. One of the party is found murdered, and tension mounts as the survivors realize that the killer is not only among them, but is willing to strike again The most colossal achievement of a colossal career.
The book must rank with Mrs Christie's previous best - on the top notch of detection. It is the most baffling mystery Agatha Christie has ever written. About Agatha Christie Agatha Christie was born in Torquay in and became, quite simply, the best-selling novelist in history. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, written towards the end of the First World War, introduced us to Hercule Poirot, who was to become the most popular detective in crime fiction since Sherlock Holmes. She is known throughout the world as the Queen of Crime. Her books have sold over a billion copies in the English language and another billion in over foreign countries.
She is the author of 80 crime novels and short story collections, 19 plays, and six novels under the name of Mary Westmacott. Rating details. Our customer reviews Arguably one of Agatha Christie's finest works, this is the story of a murder mystery that involves more than one murder; ten to be precise. The problem is that they are only ten people on the island and which one of them is the murderer? Ten people find themselves invited to a reclusive island under mysterious circumstances.
Agatha Christie: with drugs, violence and swearing, will the queen of crime recapture Christmas?
I am currnelty reading this book, and the suspense is litteratly killing me! I love it so much. The suspense that the reader is put through when devouring this book is torturous and delicious! I love the way this book breaks the conventional rules of a mystery novel while still supplying the thrill and clever sequence of events of a detective novel.
Unlike many older books, this one is supplied with enough activity and thrills to keep any reader interested and on the edge of their seat for the book's length.

The name "Agatha Christie" is nearly synonymous with upper-class British mysteries, for good reason. Christie set the standard for the genre in more than 60 novels and dozens of short stories, creating two iconic detectives along the way: the fastidious Belgian Hercule Poirot, and the English spinster Jane Marple in the Miss Marple series.

Overview A collection of three classic crime novels by Agatha Christie, the undisputed Queen of Mystery. In And Then There Were None , the bestselling mystery of all time, ten strangers are lured to an isolated island mansion of the Devon coast where, over dinner, a recorded message accuses each of them of harboring a guilty secret. And then night after night, one by one, another of them is found dead.
The Leonides, at the center of Crooked House , are one big happy family living in a sprawling ramshackle mansion. That is until the head of the household, Aristide, is murdered with a fatal barbiturate injection. But sometimes the best-reasoned suspicions overlook the clues.
